Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a more severe symptoms than most mental health presentations and has a range of different triggers.  Schizophrenia is a chronic and severe brain disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Symptoms include hallucinations (hearing voices or seeing things that are not there), paranoia, delusions (fixed, false beliefs) or a reduced ability to express emotions.

Even though schizophrenia symptoms are triggered by a number of biochemical imbalances, stigma and discrimination of people with schizophrenia is still common.

Bio Balance Health trains Medical Doctors to test the patient’s core biochemistry to measure imbalances contributing to the patient’s condition and symptoms. Combining individualised nutrient therapy with the patient’s treatment program assists in improving the patient’s quality of life.  The impact of epigenetic changes must be considered in treatment, and speedy treatment response is encouraged to prevent excess or sustained biochemistry imbalances impacting epigenetic changes. This is a growing area of knowledge and research.

• Bio Balance Health supported research has demonstrated the combination of symptoms list, and the testing of certain biomarkers and biochemistry can improve the diagnosis.

• Research to verify the usefulness of testing to provide measures which may point to a diagnosis and indicate if the treatment program is helping is a core activity of Bio Balance Health.

• This research also shows there are differences in the chemistry of Schizophrenia sufferers. It is essential doctors understand these differences, as incorrect use of medication and/or nutrients may increase the patient’s symptoms.

Some schizophrenia patients treated by BBH doctors, have gone on to live full and useful lives.  They regularly monitor their biochemistry to maintain their stability. These case histories are included in our doctor and health practitioner training.

We have trained many doctors to use these skills and their results populate our training and our research.

Much of our work is pre-publication. See these references which illustrate our research.

Our research is self-funded. If you wish to increase and/or speed up our projects please donate……..
